275/365 Snow!

I'm so happy I got to see some snow before I left Minnesota. It was just enough for me to get my fill and now I'm good for another 365 days.

273/365 Beans

We went to visit my Grandpa and Grandma. I couldn’t resist myself from crawling around in the bean field behind their condo. Yes in Minnesota there are corn and bean fields behind condos. This must have been what was left after the harvest.

272/365 Sheep

Nothing says Thanksgiving like…sheep? We celebrated Thanksgiving out at my cousin’s house this year. I couldn’t help myself from visiting the sheep. They are so funny and they were very willing models for my project 365.

271/365 Mall of America

This my not have been my best photo of the day but it's the one I enjoy the most. My mom and my sister picked me up at the airport and swept me off to the mall. I was taking photos of the giant Christmas Ornaments and my sister and my mom tried to sneak in to the photo. Can you find them?

267/365 The Quest for the Breast....

is one of the many nicknames for this fountain in front of the Standard Insurance Center in down town Portland. It's actually called The Quest by Alexander Von Svoboda, but I like it's other names Three Groins in a Fountain, The Grope, and Family Night at the YMCA. I actually think it's a really pretty fountain and that was my reason for taking photos of it tonight.

263/365 A photo of nothing real special

The short days don't give me a whole lot of time to take the natural light photos that I love taking. The early evenings have been a challenge for me and my little camera. Since I just have my point and shoot and I don't have fancy lenses or lights I really have to experiment more. I guess that’s why I’m doing this project 365 thing…I like a challenge and I like trying to figure out things on my own.

262/365 I’m having a hard time staying focused….

It seems like there are so many things going on in my life right now and I’m having a difficult time concentrating. I have a ton of things on my plate right now and I think it’s only going to get worse. Don’t worry I’m not complaining…life’s all good here! I’m just saying if my photos seem kinda random lately, and I’m not doing a lot of Flickr Group Roulette stuff it’s because my thoughts are kinda scattered.

261/365 Me

I had a really bad photo day today...I took all these photos that I thought were awesome and then when I uploaded them on to my computer they were nothing but crap! Now I have 2 photos of myself that I can't decide between for my project365. I might bounce back and forth between the 2 photos for a few days until I decide which one I like better. So things may change around here in the next few days who knows....

258/365 It's beautiful day in the it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood

Today was Amazing! We've had a lot of rain the past few days. You kinda forget what it looks like when everything isn't gray. Everyone also seemed to be in a really happy mood today too!

256/365 City Lights

I decided to play Flickr Group Roulette today...it's been a few days. Today was Roaming Thru the Gloaming...photos taken from dusk till dawn. I really like my stairwell...it has a great view of the city, it's covered from the rain and it's peaceful. It's kinda cool to sit in such a quite place and look out at the city lights below and think of all the crazy things that could be going on down there.

253/365They say it never rains at Autzen Stadium...

well yesterday it did, and a lot! It was my first duck game and I'm sure glad that I wore my rain gear. My friends are super University of Oregon fans so we headed down for the game vs. Stanford yesterday. Despite all the rain we still had a fun trip down to Eugene.

I feel like ever since I started my project 365 I see things that I really never noticed before. It's amazing all the strange and beautiful things are around. Why is it that the world looks so wonderful threw the lens of a camera?

249/365 I'm Happy

and so is Oregon. I keep hearing cheers of joy coming from other apartments in my complex. Today is a happy day! Obama is going to be our President!

Yes and I'm a big dork...even though I'm in the second half of my twenties I still color in the map every election day.

248/365 The story is it's raining and I don't think It's going to stop

Why did I move to Portland again? Days like today I have to stop and ask myself that. There is a story to why I'm here, but its not that exciting.
At least I have my trusty rain coat to keep me dry. The rain coat had a nice little story behind it too....

247/365 A rainy day in the woods.

Josh and I headed to Silver Falls Sate Park today. It's Oregon Largest state park and it's also usually very busy. It was rainy today so we knew we wouldn't have to share the park with too many other people. We had a ton of fun! The trails a real easy but there are so many wonderful water falls. You can walk behind a bunch of the too.
