337/365 Fog

Josh and I went to Pearson Field Air Museum today. It was super foggy again. I couldn't resist taking this photo. The Interstate Bridge looked so eerie in the fog.

334/365 So Sleepy

It always seems that Josh and I are on totally different sleep schedules. He's been working super early in the morning this week and I've been working late. His bed time is 7:00pm and mine is 1:00am. He has the next few days off so tonight he tried to stay up and spend time with me. As you can see from this photo it didn't work so well. Poor guy.

332/365 Crappy little fern

I can't believe that this camera and this lens can even make our poor little plant look good! I know for a fact the first lens I'm buying is a 50mm lens!!!

331/365 Snow

I took my friends camera on a little walk today. We had some snow last night. Not enough to shut things down but just enough to make everything pretty and white.

330/365 Look at me!

No I didn't get a new camera...I'm just borrowing my friends for a few days. I want a DSLR so bad!!! It's sort of a money thing but soon I will have one of my own.

329/365 Lamest Photo Day EVER!

Work was crazy so I decided to meet up with a few friends downtown. Josh had to get up early so he decided he didn't want to go out but he gave me a ride downtown. During the ride it accrued to me that I hadn't taken a photo yet. The day was ending and I had to do something. I grabbed my camera and took a quick shot after Josh parked the car. So this is the only photo I ended up with : (

328/365 Peace and Love

I've been struggling with my 365 this week. I haven't been finding or really taking the time to do a decent photo during the day so then I have to scramble when I get home.

326/365 My enemy

I've been dealing with insomnia the last two weeks.
I took Tylenol PM this weekend and crashed.
I've probably slept a total of 5 hours in the past two days.
Today I stopped drinking soda at 2 today and I'm limiting my sugar intake.
I so hope for a good night sleep!
I hate this!!!

325/365 A lot like yesterday

I worked early today so I was able to go for a walk tonight. I love the colors at dusk here in Portland. I could just sit in the park forever and watch the colors change.

324/365 Beautiful January Day!!!

Growing up in Minnesota I never in my wildest dreams could have never imagined that I would have a view like this a block from my home. I love walking to the Vista Bridge on beautiful days. I just sit and take in the view of the city and the surrounding Mountains. I'm a very lucky girl!

323/365 Little Pizzas

Just a lazy photo today. I've come down with some sort of bug. I have a sore throat and I ache all over.
Josh is home tonight so we made pizzas on pita bread. His is up front...tomato sauce, cheese, green peppers, mushrooms, and pepperonis. Mines in the back...olive oil, cheese, and mushrooms. Perfect meal for a lazy night!

322/365 Hanging Out with the Fishes

Each time I go to Seattle it's for a day at a time. I try to hit up at least one tourist attraction each time. This time Josh and I went to the Seattle Aquarium. We had so much fun! Josh always asks a ton of questions when we go to aquariums and museums so I always leave with a head full of new knowledge.

321/365 Sleepless in SeaTac

I went up to Seattle to see Josh. I had to work until midnight so I hung out in his hotel room. I watched a the office, read my book and took some really dumb photos.

318/365 Sin

Today I feel like a lazy photographer. I found an old beat up dictionary on the book exchange shelf in my apartment and decided to use it for my photo today. Flickr Group Roulette's theme was seven deadly sins. I really couldn't pick just one sin today and I also was to lazy to get dressed up and pose for the camera. So this is what I ended up with instead. Maybe I'll do a seven deadly sin set some day down the road.

317/365 Sorry

Look who's home with me!!! Josh and I played some board games tonight. I'm kind of a dork when it comes to board games. I want to have a huge library of games for company or if some day we have kids. Josh heads back up to Seattle tomorrow but I think I'm going to take some time off work and head up there myself towards the end of the week. Well needless to say it was a pretty happy Sunday around here.

315/365 Keeping it Low Key

Tonight I'm sitting at home watching a documentary on the History Channel about the dust bowl. What a sad scary time in this nation's history. I remember reading the Grapes of Wrath back in high school and how depressed I was when ever I read it. I used the TV tonight as my lighting and my inspiration for this shot.

Sorry this one's real random.

Found this lock just laying around on my way to my car today. Didn't have a whole lot of time for much else.

313/365 More January Rain

When I used to tell people that I was moving to Portland everybody’s first response was “doesn’t it rain there a lot?” Honestly I actually like the rain. I love how the little drops cling to everything. I love the sounds rain makes and how it turns everything here green. It also really beats snow!

311/365 Lacking Creativity

This isn't the first time I've felt this way since I started this 365 nonsense. I took very few photos today but I really wasn't feeling any of them. I messed around with some textures today wasn't feeling them either. I know that sooner or later something or someone will come along and inspire me, but until then I'll have to settle for half-assed photos.

310/365 Portland Protests

I went downtown today looking to used up some of my gift cards when I ran into a demonstration protesting the violence in Gaza. People have been gathering in Portland and all over the world protesting the Israel's latest attacks.

308/365 Poor Josh

He's been studying away this whole last month to learn to fly a different plane. He has at least one more month left. I have to say I have a ton of admiration for this man. I wish I had an ounce of the determination he has. This is the third time he's been though training since the beginning of our relationship and every time I'm amazed with the hard work he puts himself though to provide for us. He's an amazing man!

307/365 It's Raining

That's what Josh said to me this morning when I woke up. He said he liked that it was raining...it made things feel normal. After all the snow, the craziness of traveling back and forth from Minnesota, and the excitement of the holidays it's nice to have things feel normal again.

306/365 Happy New Year!!!

I love new years, it’s the one time of year when it’s socially acceptable to drink cheap champagne strait from the bottle. Josh and I had big plans to get all dressed up and go watch my friends band play but we decided to be lame instead. We decided we’d rather go to a movie and sit at home in our pajamas to watch the ball drop. Yeah we’re getting old and boring.

I also want to congratulate all you folks out there that are finishing up their 365s today!
