Josh's Wedding Ring 156/365 year#2
Wearing a ring is a very new thing for Josh. It doesn't help that his ring is about a half size to big. I find the ring in the most random places. On Monday I got home from work after Josh had already gone to bed and there was his ring just hanging out in the kitchen. I so surprised he hasn't lost it yet...I wonder where I'll find it next.

Josh got home from a trip tonight. I had stuff ready to make dinner but he was in the mood for burgers. I couldn't even remember the last time I've been out to eat so of course I was game. We went down to the Ram's Head on NW 23rd, sat outside and ate our burgers. It was a beautiful night.

I've decided that I didn't start this thing to take awesome photos, I started this project to take a photo a day and see what happens. I'm back on! My supervisor at work asked if I'd be interested in helping run a craft table at Concerts in Wallace Park. My answer was.."of course!" I had so much fun and the band was good too! Their name is Trash Can Joe and they play old time strings. Josh even came down and ate a hot dog. I can't wait until next week

Finally I had a day where I could take my time walking from my car to my apartment and take photos of the little things that are all around me. I didn't take any awesome photos or did I try anything new...I just took photos. I feel like I went back to my roots today and it felt good.

Josh and I celebrated my birthday 2 days early. I had to work on my real birthday so Josh took me wine tasting, out for Italian, and the to St. Cupcake. It was such a fun day. I got the carrot cake cupcake. The frosting was amazing!

Josh decided to take surf lessons our last morning in Kauai. I'm a little jealous that I didn't join him but what I really wanted to do my last morning in Kauai was lay on the beach, read my book, and take photos. We're already planning our next tropical vacation...we had the best honeymoon ever!

As far as you can go on the North Shore 129/365 year#2
Josh and I drove all the way to the end of the north shore on our last full day in Kauai. I told Josh that I wasn't going to leave Kauai until I saw a sea turtle. Well Ke'e beach was where we ran into a bunch of them...what amazing animals! Ke'e beach was pretty busy and I think they're easier ways to find turtles on the island but who cares we found some turtles!

Josh and I decided it would be fun to attend the luau at the resort next to ours. The food and drinks were reason enough to attend but the entertainment was so much fun too! Lots of dancers with fun costumes...it was an extremely fun night!

Here's a photo of my first tropical drink in Hawaii. Josh and I spent the day at the beach in front of our resort. We went out for dinner at Keoke's Paradise. We ended up eating there three times on our trip. twice for dinner and once for a snack. We ended up driving to a small town on the west side of the island to watch fireworks that night.

First sight of Kauai 125/365 year#2
When Josh woke up our first morning in Kauai he told me he wanted to change rooms. Our condo was right next to the road and all we heard all night were cars and chickens. The people at our resort were so kind and put us in a room with an ocean view! This was the first thing that I saw when I walked out of the first condo. It had been dark when we arrived the night before so I had no idea of all the beauty that was surrounding us!

Josh and I were driving across the Fremont Bridge on the way back from the airport and realized our car was weaving a little bit. When we got across the bridge we realized that we had a flat tire. Welcome back to Portland!

Schell Brewery 121/365 year#2
Josh and I gave ourselves an extra day to get things done in Minnesota before heading back to Portland and then off to our honeymoon. We ended up getting all our errands done early in the morning so we spent the rest of the day visiting some fun places in southern Minnesota. We went to Minneopa Falls near Mankato and then we drove to New Ulm to meet my sis and her man at the Schell Brewery. While we were in the tasting room one of the other guys on the Brewery tour thought Josh would get a kick out of Schell's newish beer, Lakemaid.

I really didn't take to many photo's the day after the wedding. Josh and I were pretty wiped out. We opened wedding presents around noon. Went out for Mexican food with my sis and her man for lunch. We took naps and then went out for dinner with my fam. I'm really not sure what's going on here in this photo other then my sis is looking at something on her computer...Josh is right beside her.

Pedicures 118/365 year#2
I took this the day before the wedding. My toes are the one's on the right. I have to say the day before the wedding was a pretty busy day. My mom, sis and I got our nails done in the morning. After that went to kinkos and printed of the wedding programs. When we got back home Josh's uncle was there with the car he was going to drive us around in after the wedding. Then we capped off the day with the wedding rehearsal and grooms dinner.

I went with my mom to the Mayo Clinic to day. She had her hip replaced earlier this year and had a check up to make sure everything is working right. My friend Matt/wedding photographer flew in tonight and my family took him out to eat...all in all crazy but fun day.
