So I know I said that I was going to take a self portrait on the last day of each month...but you know what it's my project so I can change the rules. I've taken enough pictures of myself for this month so you get a glass of wine instead.

Seems that this little flower couldn't handle the first hot day of the summer. I survived just fine! My apartment faces north and never gets direct sunlight so it never gets too hot! One more reason to love summers in Portland!

The fire department comes up to our community center to use they gym for basketball...in return they let our kids sit in the truck. They have our kids sit in the bucket seat so they can see where the blind spots are.

This morning was so cloudy and cold...but just as my camp stepped out of the locker room ready to jump in the pool the sky cleared and the sun came out....oh I love summer!

So I went up to the Rose Garden today to play with my camera. I took all kinds of really cool pictures up there but this picture was my favorite for the day. I didn't actually take this one in the garden. I took it by an office building on Burnside on the walk home.

I know I've pretty much taken this picture before more then once but It's a great place to mess with the different settings on my camera. I also need lots of practice with low lights so I was actually trying to challenge myself today.

100/365 DAY #100!!!!

I made it to day 100..YEAH!!! This was my first picture of the day and it was also my favorite. Josh loves Navy ships so we headed down to the river to see the ships that were in town for Fleet Week. We had a tour of USS Lake Champlain.

97/365 Ducks on Lake Oswego

Tonight Josh and I met a couple of friends in Lake Oswego for supper at Manzana Rotisserie Grill. I took some pictures down by the lake...and I was happy to see some ducks. I don't have to many pictures of animals so this was a fun challenge.
